Our Materials & Quality
The floor and substructure are built with pressure-treated pine. All the wood above the floor is Southern Yellow Pine. All the wood is pre-dipped in an oil-based stain sealer before construction.

Yes, we spent 6 months developing the best stain possible for this application. Our special oil-based formulated stain is a proprietary blend developed by Wood Defender. The color is “Yoder Brown” or “Yoder Gray” and is only used for our products.
We use a combination of nails and screws when framing the greenhouse. So, the entire frame of the greenhouse is screwed together with 5-inch and 3-inch screws, as well as 3-inch nails throughout. The trim and siding are popped on with 15-gauge nails, which is adequate for trim work. The bottom line is the greenhouses are extremely solid.
No, the skids are attached to the sub-floor and are not removable.

Yes, we have customers that have placed their greenhouse directly on the ground. Other options are to pour a concrete slab or make a level gravel pad to set the greenhouse on.
If the path is a straight shot, the clearance for an 8’ wide greenhouse will be 9’ wide and the clearance for a 12’ wide greenhouse will be 13’ wide. If the width of your gate will not accommodate this measurement, then the gate and part of the fencing will need to be temporarily removed prior to delivery. Yoderbilt delivery drivers do not remove any fencing or obstacles in the delivery path.

Greenhouse Maintenance
The stain comes with a 2-year warranty. We recommend re-staining every 2 - 3 years to keep the highest quality look possible.

At the time of order, we require 10% down or more if you choose. Once your greenhouse is completed, we will give you a call to collect the balance due before we schedule delivery. We accept debit, credit, and checks over the phone.
